On My Bookshelf

We go at least once a week to the library and so far I never fail to come home with a stack of books that I can't wait to delve into. I'm great at reading books but sometimes I get behind in posting reviews, so here are some of the books that I've been reading lately:

by Nora Roberts

Great romance novel; I can't wait till the second book in the Wedding Quartet series is released. Book 2, Bed of Roses is due to be released at the end of October.

This is a wonderful collection of four romance stories full of faith, Christmas nostalgia with all the excitement and challenges of living a Prairie life.

by Kate Morton

This story is about a young girl who is misplaced in 1913. She grows up in the care of an adopted family and is well loved. As she reaches adulthood, she is told of her adoption and goes in search of her past. The mystery weaves through three generations of family with a forgotten cottage and garden at the heart of it all. I highly recommend this; it was a great book!

by John Vornholt

I've read the first three books in this series and am now on the final book. If your a Star Trek fan, these books are just up your alley! The books are based in the Star Trek TNG era but involves the Genesis Wave from the Star Trek II movie.

The stories are well written, full of sci-fi intrigue and they are quite captivating! I am almost done book 4 and will post about it soon.

They all sound great! Too many good books, too little time. That's a good thing, I think.

I love it when people post about what books they're reading. The Forgotten Garden sounds like my kind of book. :) I wonder if our little bitty library would have it? :)
