Stray Affections by Charlene Ann Baumbich

Charlene Ann Baumbich

I've been wanting to read this book ever since I read Sandra's review on her blog right around Christmas time. Luckily, the library finally had it available and I raced on over to get a copy!

Stray Affections begins with Cassandra Higgins, a work at home Mom who attends a snow globe collectors convention. Her attention is drawn to a one of a kind snow globe that has figures of three dogs and a girl who resembles Cassandra when she was a child.

Cassandra brings home the snow globe only to find that the figurines inside it have disappeared! While she and her family are attempting to make sense of this strange occurrence, the snow globe reminds Cassandra of loved ones and a past that she would rather forget.

I found this book to be a delightful read! If you enjoy heart warming tales and have a fondness for stray animals...this book is right up your alley!
