Third Times a Charm Book Review and Give-Away

Can you believe it's February already? It's the month that's all about LOVE and what better way to celebrate it than to read some really good romance books! I love romance books ~ I come away with my spirits lifted and feeling all warm and bubbly inside. I'm picky about the ones I read and these days, I really enjoy reading Christian romance books . I was delighted to find some really good ones out there.

Third Times A Charm By Virginia Smith
Third Times A Charm by Virginia Smith happens to be just that type of romance book. It's the third and final book in Ms. Smith's Sister to Sister series. Here's a summary from the back of the book:

Can Tori balance career, family, love, and shopping? Tori Sanderson has the professional opportunity of a lifetime. If she can prove she's executive material, she's in line for a big promotion. But there's only room for one new account executive, and her co-worker has his eye on the job . . . and on Tori. How can she consider romance when she couldn't hold on to the one man who was supposed to love her forever--her own father? The time has come for answers, and Tori decides to search for the father who deserted her twelve years ago. Will she find the answers she craves? And will she ever be able to love again? "
I found this story to be heartwarming, funny, sweet and tender. It's well written and the characters are charmingly realistic ~ very much like real sisters. The story line grabbed my interest and held it throughout the whole book.
There was love, humor, joy and sadness, tears and smiles all rolled up into one really good romance! I enjoyed the book enough to add the Sister to Sister series book 1 and 2 to my TBR pile: Stuck in the Middle and Age Before Beauty. I can't wait till they get here!

Is it better to read them all in order, or can they stand alone? Thanks for the review!

Thanks so much for the great review! And thanks for participating in the blog tour for Third Time's a Charm.

Jen - you asked if you could read this book first, or if you need to read the others in the series first. I've had many people start with this one and tell me the story stands completely alone, and that's the way I wrote it. So yes, you can start with this one. But there is a continuing family story that begins with STuck in the Middle, continues with Age before Beauty, and ends with Third Time's a Charm. So you might enjoy seeing how the family and sister relationships develop if you read them in order, too. It's up to you!

I like the same type of books you like. By far my favorites are Christian romance books.

Great idea to have a give-a-way. I did this once, but I'll have to remember to do it again. I do not save my books so I would rather share them with others. Some of the books I still get at the library. The library seems to be getting a bigger selection of Christian type books.
